Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions we hear most from active adults in Clayton and beyond.

How much does physical therapy cost?

The initial evaluation is $200 and includes a full movement assessment and a personalized plan of care. Follow-up sessions are $170–$200 depending on your plan. HSA and FSA cards are accepted, and superbills are available for out-of-network reimbursement.

Do you accept insurance?

Beyond Movement is a cash-based clinic — no in-network insurance is accepted. This means no visit limits, no prior authorizations, and no interruptions to your plan of care. We can provide superbills so you can submit for potential out-of-network reimbursement on your own.

What services does Beyond Movement offer?

We offer three core services: physical therapy for active adults dealing with pain or injury, performance training for athletes ready to push beyond recovery, and personal training for individuals who want expert-guided programming from a provider with both DPT and CSCS credentials.

Can I keep training while I'm in physical therapy?

In most cases, yes. We work with you to identify modifications that keep you moving safely while you recover. The goal is never to bench you unless it's medically necessary — it's to build a plan that keeps you as active as possible throughout the process.

What's the difference between physical therapy and performance training?

Physical therapy is for people dealing with pain, injury, or movement limitations that are getting in the way of training or daily life. Performance training is for athletes who are pain-free and ready to train smarter, build strength, and reach the next level — guided by a DPT and CSCS.
